Things to Do Near
Diamond Campground

From Pikes Peak’s 14,115-ft summit to a historic gold-mining town with a roaming donkey herd — fourteen attractions within an easy drive of Diamond.

The Pikes Peak Region

Colorado's most adventurous corner,
at your doorstep.

Diamond Campground sits at the geographic center of one of the densest concentrations of national parks, scenic byways, and mining-era history in the American West. Pikes Peak itself, the summit Katharine Lee Bates climbed to write “America the Beautiful,” is a twenty-minute drive. From there, you’re within two hours of fourteeners, fossil beds, suspension bridges, and gold-rush towns.
