By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

We are the data controller for the personal information we collect through this Site.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you contact us through the Site, we collect the information you choose to share, which may include:

  • Your name
  • Email address
  • Phone number (optional)
  • The contents of your message or inquiry

2.2 Reservation Information

Reservations are processed through CampLife, a third-party booking platform operated by Aspira Connect. When you click “Book Now” or otherwise begin a reservation, you are taken to CampLife’s platform, and the information you provide there — including your name, contact details, RV or tent information, dates of stay, and payment information — is collected and processed by CampLife under their privacy policy.

We receive a copy of reservation details (such as your name, contact information, and the dates and site you booked) so we can prepare for your stay. We do not store full payment card numbers on our Site. Please review CampLife’s privacy policy at camplife.com/privacy for details on how they handle your information.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

Like most websites, our Site automatically collects certain technical information when you visit, including:

  • IP address
  • Browser type and version
  • Device type and operating system
  • Pages you visit and the time spent on each
  • The referring website or search term
  • General location (city or region) derived from your IP address

This information is collected through cookies, server logs, and similar technologies (see Section 5).

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to your inquiries and questions
  • Confirm, manage, and communicate with you about your reservation
  • Provide customer support during your stay
  • Maintain, secure, and improve the Site
  • Send occasional updates about Diamond Campground (only if you have opted in)
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms
  • Detect and prevent fraud, spam, and abuse

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process your personal information based on one or more of the following:

  • Your consent — for example, when you submit a contact form or opt in to communications
  • Performance of a contract — to provide the camping services you booked
  • Legitimate interests — to operate the Site, prevent abuse, and improve our services
  • Legal obligations — to comply with tax, accounting, and other applicable laws

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our Site uses cookies — small text files stored on your device — to help the Site function and to understand how visitors use it.

We use the following categories of cookies:

  • Essential cookies: Required for core functionality such as logging in, navigating the Site, and submitting forms. These cannot be disabled.
  • Functional cookies: Remember your preferences (such as language or display settings).
  • Analytics cookies: Help us understand which pages are popular and how visitors move through the Site. We may use services such as Google Analytics for this purpose.

You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Disabling some cookies may affect how the Site works for you.

6. Third-Party Services

We use a small number of trusted third-party services to operate the Site. Each has its own privacy practices:

When you click a link to one of these services, or when content from them loads on our Site (such as the Google Maps embed), they may collect information about your visit independently. We do not control their data practices.

7. How We Share Your Information

We share your information only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers: With companies that help us operate the Site and run the business (hosting, reservation processing, email delivery), bound by confidentiality and data-protection terms.
  • Legal requirements: When required by law, court order, or government request, or to protect our rights, property, or safety, or that of our guests or others.
  • Business transfers: If Diamond Campground is sold or restructured, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.

We never sell or rent your personal information to third parties.

8. Data Retention

We keep your personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy, or as required by law. Contact form messages are typically retained for up to 24 months. Reservation records are retained as long as needed for accounting, tax, and operational purposes — generally seven years.

9. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including SSL encryption on the Site, restricted access to personal data, and regular security maintenance of our systems. However, no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

10. Your Privacy Rights

As noted above, we do not sell personal data or use it for targeted advertising. To exercise any CPA right, contact us using the details in Section 13.

11. Children's Privacy

Our Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Reservations are made by parents or guardians who include their family members on the booking. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it.

12. International Visitors

Our Site is operated from the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., be aware that information you submit will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those in your country.
